Framer of the Year

Frame of the Year 2025

We are proud to share that the work on the Thanescroft Threshing Barn that Sam Taylor, founder of Fallen Oak Frames and his team have done has been awarded Frame of the Year by the Carpenters Fellowship.

This national award celebrates excellence in traditional timber framing and is judged by some of the most respected figures in the trade. The Threshing Barn project was chosen for its craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to traditional timber frame design.

“This project demanded care, accuracy, and a deep respect. I’m incredibly proud of what our small team achieved.”
