New oak frames

Our frames are designed and made in-house by British craftsmen. We use principals and techniques that are true to traditional timber framing and honour the skills passed down from medieval carpenters.

About us

Fallen Oak Frames is built on the skills of two individuals whose fathers worked (and still work) on oak frame buildings all over the country. Our journey began as kids visiting our fathers at restoration and new build projects where we witnessed the impressive structures be restored to former glory and take shape. The natural progression into this tight-nit industry was inevitable and we feel very fortunate to have developed an understanding of “proper’ timber frame building techniques from an early age and to have now progressed to running a successful business in the industry.

Meet the team

We are a small team with over 30 years combined experience with specialist qualifications and a specific interest in the restoration of period timber frame buildings. Often, these properties require listed building consent and our team work alongside conservation officers and heritage consultants to establish and undertake a schedule of repairs.
